Garbage Collection Update

As you know we reduced the price of our city garbage bags a few months back. We have run out of the 30 gallon bags and we are now only selling the 13 gallon bags. Once these 13 gallon bags are sold out we will be allowing residents to put their own trash bags out at the curb each week for collection. We anticipate this new program starting on or around July 1st. Until that date all bags placed at the curb must still be in the City bags (blue 30 gallon, or green 13 gallon). We are also going to continue to use and sell the compost bags.

Main Street

The Scottville Main Street Program is still seeking volunteers for the various committee's as well as upcoming events. If you are interested in helping out please contact our Main Street Manager, Brittney Hoszkiw at 757-9674 or at her office which is located within Smith & Eddy Insurance on S. Main Street.
